Dr Robin Hart

Having originally taken a four year graduate programme at the Guildhall School of Music, Robin subsequently studied at London University and took an MSc degree in Cognitive & Behavioural Psychotherapy and an MA degree in Psychoanalytic, Anthropological and Cultural Studies. He followed this with a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychology and completed his Doctoral research in adapting existing treatments and identifying new treatments for anxiety disorders and depression.

Robin joined the Forensic Psychology team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs in 1997, working clinically and researching the efficacy of treatment on the prison ‘lifer’ population. He entered primary care practice in 2002. He is registered and accredited with several professional bodies including the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy and he has a particular interest in working with a range of anxiety disorders and depression, family and relationship problems. 

Robin co-founded the Stress and Anxiety Companion App which was made available to the general public free of charge during the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequently was invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. 

Robin works with an integrative/eclectic clinical approach using a range of therapeutic models in the treatment of depression, the management of stress, anxiety conditions (including panic disorder, health anxiety, PTSD, OCD and phobias), sleep problems, anger management, and sexual and relationship difficulties. He supervises fellow clinicians and regularly speaks at international conferences on mental health and the psychology of creativity.

Fees

£180 per one hour consultation for individuals

£200 per one hour consultations for couples or families

Insurance

Patients are kindly reminded to check the conditions of their insurance policy as the provider cannot be held responsible for any non-payment of claims. Dr Hart works with a range of insurance companies but does not treat patients covered by BUPA at this practice. Please check with Dr Hart to see if you can be included with a BUPA policy at an alternative clinic.

Cancellation policy

48 hours' notice is required for cancellations to avoid charges being incurred for missed appointments.
